Too funny. Speaking from the perspective of another 70 feral druid, I await the tales of your adventure/misadventure. Good luck!

Good premise, I'm feral (45) and now asked to do some healing. They say bandages aren't good enough for some reason. Anyway keep us posted on what happens next!

I looked you up on the armory and see that you have full feral gear with your resto spec. Do you have a healing set? I also take it you do not have the healing necessary to make ToL worth it. I would take a Dreamstate build. Going down in balence just far enough to get Dreamstate while picking up the ushual Moonglow, Lunar Guidance, and Nature's Grace. All that good stuff.

This is an example build. You could move the 2 points from subtley into Nature's Focus, thats just my prefurence.

Once you have over 1k healing (1100 or 1200 is prime) you can move back into ToL. With low +healing ToL isnt impossible but it is inferior to the Dreamstate build. Our healing builds are very strange since we have to spend 23 extra points in a Dreamstate build that never go to healing and the base points you need for a PvE ToL build are only 42 points.

Good Luck!

:)

I hope you have a set of healing gear. Just remember have a threat meter (preferably omen), and use those HoTs!

Best wishes.

I'm dying to hear the end of this tale...

Sincerely,
A Feral Druid getting some of the same "Just heal for a while" business

well, been leveling as feral, but with resto healing ultimately being my goal, I wasn't as confounded :p
having never healed in any raid before was also a change (luckily I knew kara from tanking it as warrior)
your biggest "enemies" are the other healers, if they are not used to druids, as they won't let your HoTs tick, thus making it seem like you don't work :p
swiftmend is your friend here, and nature's swiftness + healing touch can do wonders in a tight spot
save your innervate for yourself, since you should be stacking spirit as tree already (or give it to the priest if they are really nice) and remember to cast it regularly to speed up trash killing (I keep forgetting it's only 6mins CD)
best hopes :)
